Alfred Nobel not only created the Nobel Prizes that are handed out each year, but he did it in a very odd and unique way.

Alfred was a Swedish Chemist and Engineer in the 1800's and he invented quite a few things that we still use today, but even though we hold this man in greatness today, he wasn't well liked during his life and was even given the nickname "The Merchant of Death".
